Fast Food : Pitafel

I really like Logic 9, made some takeaway. Might be a bit harsh on old ears, I’ve done my worst to make fast food joint music. Still to come some day: Iskender Donor, Kbab Donor and Meatigan Menu.

EDIT: MONDAY ADDITION : LOGIC DISTORTIONS AND AMP DESIGNER

I also spent some of my last holiday moments testing the distortions on Logic 9, here’s a silly multitrack rave organ bit

… first clean

… and then through the amps and “pedals”.

They’re rather useful, in my opinion, not as revolutionary as the flex time but a handy way of dirtying up your tracks. As with most things, these would be better used in moderation but as Pitafel also demostrated with the flexible timing, sometimes you need to use the obvious things with your new toys first, to get them out of the way. Right?

I really like the feel of this album. I’ve been following your music for quite some time and I just cannot love how each of your albums is different and has its own ’sound’ and yet they all are unmistakably Ghost Monkey!

thanks! i usually let tunes mellow a bit, until there’s enough tracks of certain kind that it feels for me like a whole. so for Special Children… the oldest track is maybe five years and the youngest a couple of hours from the release, if i were to release things as i go, the tracks would be far too different for the whole to be enjoyable. i guess.
